Senior Citizens' Days 2022 start
Senior Citizens' Days 2022 to start
After a two-year corona break, the Jena Seniors' Days can take place again this year.
Since 1994, these have been organized by the municipal senior citizens' advisory board of the city of Jena.
A wide range of offers are available for the entire 2nd half of the year: Joint walks through various districts, lectures, readings, citizen dialogs and craft afternoons. The program can be downloaded here (PDF document). Flyers are available in the meeting centers.
Kick-off is the open day at the care support center
The kick-off is the open day at the care support center. On Tuesday, July 5, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the care support center, the senior citizens' office and the housing advice service will open their doors to all interested parties. You can test the dementia course, try out technical everyday aids in the smart living room or get advice. Ms. Schroth, an employee of the Jena Employment Agency, will also be on hand to provide information on the topic of "Reconciling care and work".
