Hornstraße in Jena-Süd remains closed

As a result of heavy rainfall , the sewerin Hornstraße in Jena-Süd flooded on Sunday and the road surface was washed out and later subsided. During a later inspection of the sewer, the JenaWasser association also discovered damage to the sewer pipe.

Hornstraße will remain closed until further notice to repair this damage. A construction company has been commissioned to rectify the damage and will start work soon, depending on the availability of personnel and materials. Hornstraße will be fully closed between the Magdelstieg junction and approximately the property at Hornstraße 4 until the end of August.

The Zweckverband JenaWasser asks for your understanding for the restrictions.
