Summer party at the Janusz Korczak kindergarten

"Welcome to the forest!" was the motto of the summer party at Janusz Korczak kindergarten on Wednesday.

The young and old forest spirits, fairies and forest animals were able to try their hand at many different stations.

Thanks to the financial support of the Friends' Association, a special event was made possible - a visit from falconer Gerhard Retterath, who introduced the children to his falcon, hunting dog and ferret and had lots of informative stories to tell about the forest.

At the "Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald" (German Forest Protection Association) station, the children were able to learn about the trees in the forest through play and feel various things in touch boxes.

An exciting, eventful morning with lots of fun and exercise for everyone - thanks to the organizers and supporters!
