Summer vacations 2026: Folding plan bundles vacation offers for children, young people and families

Answers can be found in the new 2026 Holiday Diversity Plan, published by the Jena Alliance for Families together with the Department of Social Affairs, Health, Immigration and Climate. The flyer brings together numerous exciting, creative and eventful activities for children, young people and families in Jena and the region.

From sports and creative activities, vacation trips and camps to nature experiences and hands-on activities, the fold-out map provides a compact overview of the many opportunities available during the summer vacations. The participating institutions include youth centers, museums, libraries, sports clubs, the student research center, the University of Jena and numerous independent organizations and associations.

In addition to the vacation offers, the flyer contains further tips for the vacation season. It presents hiking trails in and around Jena, the nature experience region "natura jenensis", the city of Jena's family guide and vacation camps in the Saale-Holzland district and Weimarer Land.

The vacation folding plan will be distributed in the coming days in businesses, public institutions and other distribution points in the city area. It is also available for download.
