These rules apply in Jena from Wednesday, 02.06.2021
The new Thuringian SARS-CoV-2 infection control measures ordinance is available, which now also specifies exact measures for incidences below 50 and below 35. Since an incidence below 35 has already been present in Jena for more than 5 working days, comprehensive relaxation measures can be initiated as of tomorrow.
Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche says: "The positive trend of falling infection figures in recent weeks has fortunately continued. Now we can look forward to further relaxations. This is the reward for the discipline of the last few weeks, for which I would like to sincerely thank all citizens. And I would ask them to use the relaxations responsibly and continue to abide by the applicable requirements - especially the AHA-L rules."
Information about the city of Jena's new general ordinance, which among other things also regulates the lifting of the mask requirement in the city center, will be provided later this week.
