Traffic restrictions due to a planned demonstration on Wednesday

Due to a planned demonstration, there may be traffic disruption in Jena city centre on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, from approximately 3.30 pm to 6.15 pm.

The following programme is planned:

Rally: ‘Jena – No Peace: A March of Remembrance and Commemoration – marking the so-called “self-exposure” of the NSU’ (approx. 3.30 pm – 6.15 pm):

Organiser: Junge Gemeinde

• Number of participants: approx. 300 people
• Opening rally: approx. 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm, theatre forecourt
• Procession: approx. 4.30 pm – 5.45 pm

• Route: Theatre forecourt – Schillergäßchen – Schillerstraße – Leutragraben – Johannisstraße – Johannisstraße 14 – Rathausgasse – Unterm Markt – Marktplatz

• Interim rally: approx. 5.00 – 5.30 pm, Johannisstraße 14 (commemorative sculpture)
• Closing rally: approx. 5.45 pm – 6.15 pm, fountain on Marktplatz

Road users are advised to allow extra time.
