Traffic restrictions due to registered rally on Saturday

Due to a registered rally, there may be traffic obstructions in the city center of Jena on Saturday, 07.02.2026 from approx. 14:00 to 18:00. The following schedule is planned:

Rally "From Jena to Budapest: Unlimited solidarity against right-wing
terror and authoritarian capitalism - freedom for Maja" (approx. 14:00 - 18:00):

Registrant: Private person

  • Number of participants: approx. 600 people
  • Kick-off rally: approx. 14:00 - 14:45, open space Holzmarkt
  • Elevator: approx. 14:45 - 17:00

  • Planned route: (final vote on alternative route Fürstengraben will take place on the day of the rally)

  • Holzmarkt - Löbderstraße - Markt - Unterm Markt - Löbdergraben - Saalbahnhofstraße - Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße - Am Planetarium - Bibliotheksplatz - Weigelstraße - Johannisstraße - Johannisplatz - Leutragraben - Teichgraben - Löbdergraben - Kronengasse - Grietgasse - Engelplatz - Schillerstraße - Theatervorplatz

  • Intermediate rally: Johannisplatz (final decision on the specific location will be made on the day of the rally)
  • Final rally: approx. 17:00 - 18:00, open space Theatervorplatz
