Traffic restrictions due to two registered rallies on Thursday

Due to two registered rallies, there may be traffic obstructionsin the districts of Jena North / Center on Thursday, 08.05.2025 from approx. 15:30 to 20:00. The following procedure is planned:

Demonstration "Demo on the Day of Liberation. Demo against social cuts, climate justice and fascism." (approx. 17:00 - 20:00):

Registrant: DBG district association Jena/Saale-Holzland

  • Kick-off rally approx. 17:00 - 17:15, memorial stele Löbstedter Straße 56
  • Elevator approx. 5:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

  • Route: Löbstedter Straße - Am alten Gaswerk - Wiesenstraße - Lutherplatz - Fürstengraben - Straße des 17. Juni - Johannisplatz - Leutragraben - Teichgraben - Holzmarkt

  • Intermediate rallies:

a) Fürstengraben near ThULb, alternatively green space and Weigelstraße
b) Straße des 17. Juni, at the monument to the victims of National Socialism

  • Final rally approx. 18:45 - 20:00, open space Holzmarkt

Rally "Memorial walk against forgetting - 80th anniversary of the liberation
from National Socialism" (approx. 15:30 - 16:25):

Registrant: Die Linke. City Association Jena

  • Kick-off rally approx. 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm, North Cemetery (Field 7) - Monument to the Soviet Soldiers
  • Elevator approx. 16:00 - 16:25

  • Route: Exit Nordfriedhof (direction Dornburger Straße) - Hufelandweg - Dornburger Straße - Scharnhorststraße - Leipziger Straße - underpass gas station - Löbstedter Straße
