Corona case numbers
No change to yesterday's situation:
- 159 corona cases in Jena, one person is undergoing inpatient treatment in the intensive care unit.
- A total of 3 deaths. 149 people are considered recovered, 7 active cases.
Municipal outdoor sports facilities reopened for clubs today
The following sports facilities can be used again under certain conditions: Lobeda East and West, Winzerla, Isserstedt, Am Jenzig; as well as the Maua sports field, the Oberaue sports complex and the Ernst Abbe Stadium.

No openings without state ordinance
The Jena crisis team would like to point out that the relaxations announced yesterday are only announcements so far. Some reports have suggested that restaurants, for example, could open immediately. However, this is not the case.
A Thuringian state ordinance is currently in force that clearly does not allow any further easing of restrictions than has been implemented so far. A new ordinance is not expected before the middle of next week. Only then can the state law be implemented in the municipality.
Caution is required, especially with the alarming number of corona cases in the district of Greiz and in the neighboring city of Gera.
