Call for expressions of interest for the operation of station-based car sharing parking spaces in public spaces

The city of Jena is once again conducting an expression of interest procedure for the operation of station-based car sharing parking spaces in public spaces. A total of nine stations with 18 parking spaces divided into three lots will be offered in Jena. The procedure runs until 29.05.2026.

The aim of the procedure is to further develop car sharing as an attractive form of mobility for all residents and guests of the city and to increase the number of vehicles available. The plan is to offer a station-based service with reserved or provider-specific assigned car sharing parking spaces on the city's public streets.

In order to ensure the greatest possible customer potential, the car sharing parking spaces on offer are predominantly located in highly visible and central locations, in areas with a high population density and close to existing public transport connections and stops.

A total of nine stations with 18 parking spaces are offered in Jena, divided into three lots. Each station consists of two parking spaces. The number of parking spaces per station is prescribed. Only complete lots will be awarded. Only complete stations and no individual parking spaces will be awarded within the lots. Tenders may be submitted for all lots. Secondary offers are not permitted.

The site plans with a graphic representation of the parking spaces to be awarded at the respective locations and allocation to the respective parking zone and all other relevant information can be found under Downloads.
