"Strong Roles - Women* in Cinema" with new film at KuBuS

The Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Jena and the KuBuS in Theobald-Renner-Str.1a in Lobeda West will show a new film in the film series "Strong Roles - Women* in Cinema" on Wednesday, 31.5.2023 at 7 pm.

"Scenes of my marriage" is a film about love and the smallest cell of society: the couple. A film about the cohabitation of two people who have met again by chance and are now amazed at their find.

From the film: The first time they met was at an apartment viewing. It was love at first sight, but at the time they were both living in committed relationships. All that remained was an affair. Ten years later, chance brings them together again. They decide to get married. Lukas lives and works in Austria, Katrin in Berlin: How and where do they want to live? What is he to her, what is she to him?

The director Katrin Schlösser will be a guest on the evening and will answer questions from the audience after the film. Sylka Scholz, Prof. for Gender Studies at the Faculty of Sociology of the FSU Jena, will be the panelist.
