Climate fit: Climate change on your doorstep! What can I do?

07.03.2024

More and more hot days over 30 degrees, periods of drought and heavy rainfall - the effects of climate change have long been obvious in our country too. As a result, more and more people are calling on politicians to take decisive action to protect the climate. But it's not just politicians who need to act. We can all do something to combat climate change. The innovative VHS course "klimafit" teaches exactly how this is possible.

Over the course of six evenings, participants are familiarized with the scientific basics of climate and climate change. The focus is on the changes that climate change is bringing about in Germany and in your region and provides knowledge and action skills on climate change on your doorstep. In addition, the course provides suggestions for joint action and effective climate protection, enables joint CO2 savings and offers the opportunity to network with like-minded people and relevant actors in the community.
