Corona situation picture for Jena

15.04.2021

There were 13 new SARS-CoV-2 infections reported to the Health Department on Wednesday, 4/14/2021 (by midnight). 34 persons were considered recovered.

Of previous positive rapid tests at schools, one was confirmed with PCR, and 4 PCR tests were negative. Further PCR results are not available to the public health department of Jena, since children from the surrounding area of Jena were also included, whose test results are sent to the responsible public health departments there. New positive rapid tests have been available since yesterday, the PCR results of which are still pending.

The already reported general decree for the continued operation of day-care centres, schools and after-school centres has been adapted after consultation with the facilities. Thus, stays of parents, as for example during the acclimatisation in day-care centres, with negative rapid tests are still possible. Likewise, the separation of groups in the facilities has been regulated in such a way that it is easier to implement. In the open areas, the distance regulations between groups have been reduced to 5 metres. Participation in the test offer has been made more specific: it applies to all children from the age of 3.
