7-day incidence by age group

With today's message, we would again like to share an updated graph on the trend of 7-day incidence by age group. While earlier this year most corona cases were still occurring in those over 80, the vaccination effect now seems to be taking hold. The over 80 and 65-80 age groups currently account for only a small proportion of corona cases. We are currently seeing an increasing trend in the age groups 0-6, 6-10, 10-18, 27-45 and 45-65. This coincides with the current focus of the infection incidence in the family and professional sector as well as in schools and day-care centres.
