An infection in a school has resulted in extensive quarantine measures. Furthermore, most of the new cases can be attributed to the occupational environment.

General decree of the city of Jena extended

As of today, a new Jena general ordinance is in effect. It does not bring any new changes. Only editorial additions were made. The general ruling is valid until 17.05.2021.

Since the changeover of the reporting to the incidence values of the Robert Koch Institute, we receive many queries. Therefore the following information is given:

Only case numbers according to the Robert Koch Institute's list are reported.
For the values of newly transmitted cases per day, the reporting date is used - the date on which the Health Department became aware of the case and recorded it electronically. However, cases with a reporting date of the previous days can still be transmitted on the following days. The figures in the RKI dashboard are therefore dynamic. The case figures published by us always represent only a snapshot, which can still change on subsequent days due to re-dating or allocation to other regional authorities.
Decisive for rules according to § 28b of the Infection Protection Act ("Federal Emergency Brake") are the 7-day incidences, which are calculated on the basis of the values at midnight of the previous day and then remain "frozen" for the entire day, even if the described case number changes occur.
