The Department of Health has been notified of 48 SARS-CoV-2 infections as of Wednesday evening (midnight). 32 persons have recovered.

Since yesterday, the vaccination portal for Thuringia has been activated. At www.impfen-thueringen.de, in a first step, people of the "highest priority" level can make an appointment for vaccination. These include:

• Over 80-year-olds
• People who live or work in nursing homes and homes for the elderly
• Nurses in outpatient care services
• Medical staff in intensive care units, emergency rooms, ambulance services, SARS-CoV-2 vaccination centres and in areas with infection-related activities
• Employees in medical facilities who treat, care for, or provide care to people at high risk.

Relatives of the elderly who may not have access to the Internet are asked to assist with enrollment.
