Corona situation picture for Jena
There were 18 SARS-CoV-2 infections reported to the Health Department on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 (by midnight). 28 people have recovered.
Correction
We regret that we must subsequently correct this report: A large number of infections did not result from a fraternity gathering. It was a private meeting.
Alone 10 infections arose from a private meeting of a larger group. There, 22 people stayed together in one room for an extended period of time, some without masks. At the meeting, other people who do not live in Jena also became infected.
The 5 deaths were subsequently reported test results.
In the Heinrich-Heine-Schule, one class was quarantined.
A new regulation concerning the closed playgrounds will come into force on Friday with the general decree of the city of Jena.
