Corona situation picture for Jena
The health department was notified of 32 SARS-CoV-2 infections on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 (by midnight). 37 persons have recovered.
The infections occur in different contexts. For example, family members are infecting each other.
The nursing situation at the "Vitanas Rosenthal" retirement home continues to be dramatic. Since Wednesday evening, the German Armed Forces have taken over the maintenance of care there. Starting Friday, the Bundeswehr medical platoon will be deployed at the facility.
