Corona situation picture for Jena

There were 5 new SARS-CoV-2 infections reported to the Health Specialist Service on Monday 01/03/2021 (by midnight).

Unfortunately, another death related to Covid19 infection has to be reported.

10 persons were classified as recovered, and the 7-day incidence remains at 54.6.

There have been 2 additional infections at the nursing home with the reported outbreak. This brings the total to 14 staff and 12 residents. The reported death has also occurred in this facility.

Following a positive case of a child in a nursery school, another child tested positive. Typing showed evidence of a mutation. Further tests in the KiTa group remained negative.

2 cases occurred in the family environment.
