Corona situation picture for Jena

There were 21 new SARS-CoV-2 infections reported to the Health Specialist Service on Tuesday 09/03/2021 (by 24hrs).

Unfortunately, one new death related to Covid19 disease must also be reported.
11 persons have been classified as recovered.

The high number of cases is mainly composed of follow-up cases of the infection clusters in day-care centres. Infections also occur in families as a result. According to previous observations of the Health Department, in the case of proven virus mutations, infections also occur more frequently in contact persons.
