Evening situation from 06.04.2020

First an important request: Thanks to the people of Jena!

According to the public order office, the obligation to cover the mouth and nose has been complied with in most cases. The retail trade was also satisfied, as was the Jena public transport system. The numerous television teams were also impressed by Jena's discipline.



Only in individual cases could people be observed who were not yet wearing a covering. In this context we would like to point out once again that a scarf, shawl or hose cloth is also considered to be a covering.

Self sewn masks for individuals can also be picked up at the Citizens' Foundation Jena.

Corona has been tested positive in 145 cases.

49 people are considered to have recovered, 7 people are hospitalised, 2 in intensive care.
