With the general decree, which is valid from Sunday, 22.03.2020, further sales outlet closures and prohibitions of some not acutely necessary craftsman services andmeasures of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy that are not prescribed by a doctor or are medically necessary.

Opticians and hearing aid dispensers, car parts sales outlets and tobacco shops are excluded from the closure regulation.

Special hygiene regulations for craftsmen's services

Special hygiene regulations must be observed for all tradesmen's work. These include above all the maintenance of a minimum distance of 1.5 metres. For therapeutic measures on humans, the requirement to wear protective clothing (mouth-nose protection, gloves, smocks, protective goggles) also applies.

Increased controls from Sunday

From Sunday, more members of the municipal order service and the police will be on the road to enforce the ban on entering public areas in Jena. Immediate fines of 50 € are possible.
