Jena evening situation from 18.03.2020

7 new cases have been confirmed today. (As of 8:20 p.m.). This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Jena to 30.

Risk areas expanded

The city of Jena has today again extended the risk areas. These now include Great Britain as well as the German federal states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia.

Important: For returnees from all risk areas the following applies with immediate effect (independent of symptoms):

• Immediate quarantine for 14 days
• Immediate obligation to register on 03641-49 2222 or at corona@jena.de
• Commuters from the Saale-Holzland district and the Weimarer Land who have stayed in the risk areas are requested to contact their employer immediately. Commuters who come to Jena from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg or North Rhine-Westphalia to work and who have stayed in the risk areas are requested to put themselves in domestic quarantine for a period of 14 days.

Commuters

Commuters from the Saale-Holzland district and the Weimarer Land region who have stayed in the risk areas are requested to contact their employer immediately.

Commuters who come to Jena from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg or North Rhine-Westphalia to work and who have stayed in the risk areas are asked to go into domestic quarantine for a period of 14 days.
