Tasks

1. Enforcement of public-law monetary claims of the City of Jena according to ThürVwZVG i.V.m. AO
2. Enforcement of authorized civil law monetary claims of the City of Jena in accordance with § 42 ThürVwZVG
3. Pursuit of the titled civil law monetary claims of the City of Jena in accordance with ZPO
4. Submission of requests for enforcement assistance/orders for enforcement services by way of administrative assistance or to the ordinary authorities
   Courts, if own jurisdiction is not given locally or factually
5. Enforcement by way of administrative assistance for other local authorities in Germany and abroad
6. Enforcement for other creditors, where assigned by law
7. Central insolvency, forced sale and forced administration processing, both own applications and participation
   in ongoing proceedings on behalf of the City of Jena
8. Oral and written information on all of the aforementioned matters
9. Correspondence on all of the aforementioned matters with debtors, their authorized representatives or agents, other departments
   and authorities, where permitted
10. Processing of objections to all of the above-mentioned matters, incl. preparation for the Legal Department if legal proceedings are necessary
11. Processing applications for deferrals, write-offs and waivers (excluding OWIG, SGB VIII and SGB XII)
12. Auction of seized valuables in enforcement proceedings (customs auction)
13. Debt collection and seizure of movable property by enforcement officers (field service) in accordance with ThürVwZVG, in particular seizure of property, bags and cash
