Corona situation picture for Jena

There were 25 SARS-CoV-2 infections reported to the specialist health service on Monday (up to midnight).

Unfortunately we have to pass on 5 death notifications related to Covid-19. The deaths have already occurred in the last week and have now been classified as Covid cases after autopsy examinations. There are now a total of 27 deaths in Jena due to Covid-19 infection. 17 of the deceased had previously lived in a nursing home. The youngest deceased person was born in 1953, the oldest in 1924.

Statistical cleaning of the case lists allowed a high number of persons to be listed as recovered. The adjustment is due to delayed subsequent registrations and registrations during the holidays. As a result, the number of active cases dropped sharply to 402.
