Tasks of the fire and rescue service control centers
- Organization and maintenance of a central control centre for local and supra-regional emergency call inquiries in the area of responsibility
- Organization and monitoring of service operations in the three duty shifts of the central control center Nationwide coordination of airborne secondary operations
- Coordination of ground-based rescue service and air rescue operations in the area of responsibility for all aid organizations involved as well as emergency pastoral care
- Documentation and coordination of all operational measures
- Procurement and maintenance of communication equipment
- Coordination of ambulance transports without special signals (to the hospital, to the doctor's surgery, discharges)
- Organizing and ensuring the training and further training of central control center personnel
