FINISHED CONSTRUCTION SITES
Forest road
- Complete closure ended.
NEW ROADWORKS / CLOSURES
Leipziger Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: House number 75-79
- Duration: 15.02.2023 (7:00 am) to 16.02.2023 (6:00 pm)
- Reason: Crane work
- Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.
EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SITES
Buchenweg
- Type: Half-sided closure
- Location: House number 34
- Duration: until 30.07.2023
- Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent school
- Details: Waiting is compulsory for vehicles meeting in the carriageway area.
Fürstengraben
- Type: Closure on one side
- Location: Junction with Bibliotheksplatz up to the junction with Johannisplatz
- Duration: until 24.02.2023
- Reason: Work on the sidewalk
- Details: A one-way street will be set up. Inbound traffic will be diverted (see appendix for detour plan). Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site.

Goldberg tunnel
- Type: Full closure for cyclists and pedestrians
- Duration: until 28.02.2023 (17:00)
- Reason: Safety measures in the tunnel
- Details: A detour is signposted. Pedestrians and cyclists please use the newly created footpath/cycle path.
Julius-Schaxel-Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: Local traffic entrance to the Göschwitzer Straße junction (Fiebig car dealership)
- Duration: until 31.03.2023
- Reason: Road expansion incl. pipe laying
- Details: The construction site can be passed on foot. There will be 3 construction phases. Construction phases 2 + 3 will take place in 2023.
Keßlerstraße
- Type: Temporary restrictions
- Location: Entrance to local traffic to Göschwitzer Straße junction
- Duration: until 17.02.2023
- Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables
Lessingstraße
- Type: Complete closure
- Place: House number 8-10
- Duration: until 06.04.2023
- Reason: Laying of drinking water pipe
- Details: The closure can be bypassed via Fröbelstieg and Helmholtzweg.
Lobeda-Altstadt - Neulobeda - Drackendorf
- Type: Temporary restrictions
- Duration: until 24.02.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable
Max-Gräfe-Gasse
- Type: Partial closure
- Location: Corner of Kreuzgasse
- Duration: until 31.03.2023
- Reason: Construction site installation for house conversion
- Details: The construction site can be passed.
Oberaue
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
- Duration: until 31.03.2023
- Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
- Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.
Thomas-Münzer-Weg
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: House number 4
- Duration: until 30.06.2023
- Reason: Construction of a residential building
- Details: The full closure is indicated by means of planning boards from both Jägerbergstraße and Max-Gräfe-Gasse. The restricted area must be driven around extensively. The construction site can be safely passed on foot and by bike.
To the Ziskauer Valley (Lützeroda)
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: until 28.04.2023
- Reason : Civil engineering works (sewage; drinking water)
- Details: A detour will be signposted on site.
ANNOUNCEMENT
Maua level crossing
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: 22.02.2023 (6:00 am) to 26.02.2023 ( 12:00 pm)
- Reason : Work on the track system and the level crossing
- Details: During this time, the level crossing is closed to all road users. Pedestrians and cyclists can use a nearby tunnel and will be diverted accordingly.
Lindenhöhe
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: 20.02.2023 to 05.05.2023
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot
Oberaue
- Type: Closure of partial areas
- Location: From the main stadium access road to Roland-Ducke-Weg
- Duration: 22.02.2023 to 30.06.2023
- Reason: Expansion of the road and ancillary facilities
- Details: Access to the Oberaue will always be possible. Further information will follow next week.
