Equal Opportunities Officer

Tasks of the Equal Opportunities Officer (Gender Officer, Women's Representative, Equal Opportunities Officer)

1. Reduction of discrimination, responsible for all gender-related matters as an interdisciplinary cross-sectional task
2. Supporting department management in measures to promote equal opportunities and reduce discrimination, initiating own measures of a structural and preventative nature (e.g. events, training), public relations work
3. Participation in recruitment procedures, promotions, upgrading and downgrading, redeployment, dismissals, working time regulations, structural changes
4. Participation in the analysis of the staff structure, preparation/implementation of the equal opportunities plan and personnel development concepts
5. Contact with federal, state and local authorities with this area of responsibility, cooperation and support of regional players with gender equality policy significance
6. Individual advice for citizens on the elimination of discrimination
