Getting older - actively shaping it!
The city of Jena is launching an informative series of events aimed at citizens, relatives and volunteers. The series is being organized by the Jena Senior Citizens' Office. The focus is on the positive and active shaping of ageing - a phase of life that can now span many decades and offers numerous new opportunities.
The series addresses important topics that concern people in this phase of life: from practical questions of retirement planning and financial aspects to forms of living in old age and meaningful activities in retirement. "There are many facets to ageing today. Our series of events offers concrete ideas on how this phase of life can be shaped positively," explains Volkssolidarität Jena, the host of the events.
