Changed opening hours due to public holidays

The following opening hours apply during the holidays / Christmas vacation:

Citizens' Service

The citizen service at Engelplatz will be closed from 23.12.2024 to 01.01.2025. From 02.01.2025 it will be open again regularly - also on Saturday, 04.01.2025.

Jena Central

The team of the telephone hotline -490 (Jena Zentral) will not be on duty from 21. 12.2024 to 01.01.2025.

Administration buildings

The city administration buildings will be closed to the public from 23.12.2024 to 05.01.2025.

Municipal Service Jena (KSJ)

• Service office:
  The service office at Saalstraße 9 will be closed on 30.12.2024.
  
• Service center:
  The service center at Löbstedter Straße 56 can be reached during regular opening hours - in person or by telephone on 03641/4989-0 during the respective opening hours - or by email at ksj@jena.de.(link sends email)
  
• Tauschhaus 2.0:
  The Tauschhaus at Löbstedter Straße 68 will be closed from 23.12.2024 up to and including 31.12.2024. From 02.01.2025, the Tauschhaus will be open again as usual.
  

• Recycling centers (KSJ):
  The recycling centers are closed on 24.12.2024. On 31.12.2024, the recycling centers have shortened opening hours until 12:00 noon.
