Obstructions on the B7 , B88 and in Jena on Thursday
Due to registered rallies, there will probably be traffic obstructions on Thursday, 11.01.2024 on the B7 between Erfurt and Jena, on the B88 between Orlamünde and Jena and in the city of Jena.
B88: Lift from Orlamünde to Jena
The smaller of the two elevators is expected to take place between 05:30 and 10:00. The plan is to drive once from Orlamünde on the B88 to Jena as far as Jembo Park with up to 50 tractors and other vehicles. Registration was made via a private individual at the Saale-Holzlandkreis district office.
The following route has been determined:
Orlamünde - Kahla - Schöps - Jägersdorf - Ölknitz - Rothenstein - Jena (Rudolstädter Str. - Otto-Eppstein-Str. - Victor-Goerttler-Str.)
B7: Lift from Erfurt to Jena
The larger elevator runs from Erfurt to Jena and has been registered with the city of Jena via the Thuringia Transport Association. The plan is for a motorcade of up to 150 articulated trucks and lorries to travel from Erfurt (side note: currently 105) via Weimar to Jena as far as the B88 to Maua.

The elevator on the B7 in particular is expected to be several kilometers long. Accordingly, considerable restrictions are to be expected. Road users are advised to take a wide detour around the area and allow extra time.
