Opening of further buildings of the city of Jena for the public

The Corona Protection Ordinance expires on 03.02.2023. This also means that the obligation to wear masks in public transport and the obligation to be isolated after an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus will end. The Corona Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance will also end on 03.02.2023.

In the course of this, the buildings of the city administration and municipal enterprises that were previously still closed to visitors will be reopened to visitors during regular opening hours. Below is an overview of the current opening hours. Individual appointments can also be made outside opening hours.

Mayor, Legal Department, Human Resources Department, City Council Office, Central Project and Process Management, Public Relations Office

The building Am Anger 15 is open Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.

Visitors must register via the gate at the entrance. Prior appointments are preferred, but access will be available without.

Department 2

The Citizens' Services and Immigration and Residence Departments were already open to visitors during the Corona pandemic. The previous opening hours remain unchanged.
