Public transport strike: No school transport on Wednesday and Thursday

The strike announced for Wednesday morning, 28.02.2024, 03:00 a.m. to Friday morning, 01.03.2024, 03:00 a.m. by Jenaer Nahverkehrs and JES Verkehrsgesellschaft will also affect school transport: There will be no school buses on Wednesday and Thursday. The Jena schools are preparing for this and informing parents about possible restrictions and changes to school operations.

Supervision for grades 1 - 6 will be guaranteed. If individual pupils do not attend lessons due to the traffic restrictions, this does not count as an unexcused absence.
