Registration for school enrollment examinations now possible online

Appointments for school enrolment examinations for the 2024/25 school year can now be booked online. Registrations are possible for all school starters residing in Jena. The examinations take place in the building at Lutherplatz 3, 1st floor, left-hand side.

All the necessary information and documents can be found at jena.de/einschulungsuntersuchung(link is external).

Parents of children with support needs (integration assistance measures such as early intervention, integrative place, sensory-specific support) are asked to contact the Health Department by telephone.

Staff from the child and youth medical service are available for this purpose on Tuesday (10:00 - 12:00) or Thursday (14:00 - 16:00) on 00 49 (0) 3641 49-3282. It is also possible to make an appointment by e-mail(einschulungsuntersuchung@jena.de)(link sends email).
