The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, for which the city of Jena will be the host town for athletes from Lithuania, is still looking for volunteers. The city is looking for 20,000 volunteers to help with the largest inclusive sports event, which will take place in Berlin from June 17 to 25.

January 31, 2023 is the official registration deadline for anyone who wants to be a volunteer in Berlin. Volunteers support the organizing committee to make the World Games a unique experience. Many benefits await volunteers, including:

When applying, it does not matter whether the interested parties already have experience or want to be a volunteer for the first time. The minimum age is 16 years (deadline 01 June 2023) and communication should be possible in German or English. Important: Volunteers should be available for at least 5 days between June 17-25 and must attend online training sessions before the Games.
